tasInLaw - Judgments

tasInLaw publishes the judgments of the Supreme Court of Tasmania (including the Full Court of the Supreme Court and the Court of Criminal Appeal).

The Supreme Court Judgments infobase has all Supreme Court cases from 1985 to date. The database contains over 2,600 full text judgments - 1,000+ more judgments that any collection freely available on the Internet, and a complete collection of judgments from 1985 - compared to only selected (mainly unreported) judgments obtainable from other commercial publishers.

Earlier judgments have page numbers corresponding to the paper copy allowing for easy citation. (Judgments from 1999 have medium-neutral paragraph numbers.) They also have a cross-reference to the citation of the reported decision.

Judgments are published in Folio Views, allowing fast and powerful searching.

The judgments are properly formatted and can easily be copied into word processing documents. They can be printed and downloaded as Microsoft Word, Word Perfect or other such files, thus retaining their formatting.
